The Digital Transition All remaining full-power television station still broadcasting in analog will make the transition to all-digital between April 16 and June 12. As of February 17, 2009, about one-third of the nation's full-power TV station had already gone all-digital. What this means for Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative Dtv Customers?- Providing our customers with cutting-edge communication technologies, all Heart of Iowa customers who currently have Heart of Iowa Communications' Dtv in their home and have Dtv hooked up to all of their television sets will not need to do anything different.
What if some of my televisions are not hooked up to Heart of Iowa Communications Dtv?- You may need to purchase a digital television converter to view shows from full-power television stations.
- If you have a television set(s) not connected to Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperatives Dtv you will want to verify if they have a built in converter. To do this go to the dtv.gov site, choose frequently asked questions (FAQ). Choose the question "How do I know if I already have a digital TV (DTV)?"
